Berry Lime Remix

This is a bright and punchy mocktail that’s a great step into warmer weather.

Shrubs are fantastic mixers for mocktails (and I guess cocktails too haha). But I feel like sometimes non-alcoholic drinks can have a lack of “kick”, and using shrubs helps give your drink that nice texture and tang. Also shrubs are super easy to make, find–and there are so many different flavors and varieties to play with.

BERRY LIME REMIX

2 oz Lyre’s NA Dry London Spirit

0.75 oz Blackberry Shrub*

0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice

3 Dashes of All The Bitter’s NA Orange Bitters

Another Remix of this Remix that was also delightful:

BERRY LEMON REMIX

2 oz Lyre’s NA American Malt (or Dry London Spirit)

0.75 oz Blackberry Shrub*

0.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

3 Dashes of All The Bitter’s NA Orange Bitters

Blackberry Shrub:

1 cup Raw Sugar

1 1/4 cup Blackberries

1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

Mash blackberries with sugar together super well. Let sit for 15 minutes. Add in the vinegar and give it a stir. Cover and let steep in the fridge for 3 to 5 days. Give it a stir or shake once a day. Strain out solids and keep in a jar. Store in the fridge until ready to use. Keeps in the fridge for a month.
