Passion Fruit Syrup
I make a lot of syrups at my home bar, but this is definitely one I make a lot. And that’s: Passion Fruit Syrup. Passion Fruit Margs and Sodas are frequent flyer cocktails when I have people over, and is always a huge hit. The recipe for this syrup is ridiculously easy, so y’all should all know it and make it. 🤘🏻
Passion Fruit Syrup:
1 Bag of Frozen Seedless Passion Fruit Puree
1 Cup of Orangic Cane Sugar
Combine all into a small pot and put over low to medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar and passion fruit is fully mixed. Remove from heat and let it cool. Then pour into a seal tight container and store in the fridge. Good for about 3-4 weeks.
Passion Fruit Margarita:
2 oz Tequila or Mezcal
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
0.5 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
Combine all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously to chill. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge.
