1910

I think it’s time to make a: 1910 😏

This mezcal and cognac riff on a Manhattan does not disappoint (well, in my opinion). The 1910 cocktail by Ezra Star gets its name from the year of the Mexican Revolution, and also gives a nod to the 1919 cocktail (which is more of a rum Manhattan variation which gets its name from the Molasses Flood in Boston).

1910
1 oz Punt E Mes
0.75 oz Mezcal
0.75 oz Cognac
1 bsp Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
2 Dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir to chill. Strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with an orange zest and twist.
