Old Cuban
If you dig a mojito and have a love for champagneβthis modern classic cocktail is one to add to your rotation. πΎ
OLD CUBAN
1.5 oz Aged Rum
1 oz Simple Syrup
0.75 Fresh Lime Juice (I usually opt for 1 oz)
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters (I usually do an extra dash)
2 oz Champagne
Muddle the mint, lime, and simple syrup. Then add the bitters and rum. Add ice and shake vigorously to chill. Double-strain into a chilled coupe. Top with Champagne. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and lime wheel.
