Being quite the tropical drink and culture enthusiast, it's kind of wild that my mug/glassware collection hasn't seen the spotlight. I also needed something with a bit of escapism on the palate for this upcoming holiday weekend–so here's a simple and slightly bitter-esque cocktail of dark rum, amaro, and pineapple mix for ya. 🤙🏻 Cheers, imbibers!


2 oz Dark Rum
0.75 oz Amaro di Angostura
2 oz Pineapple Juice
0.5 Lime Juice

Add all ingredients and shake vigorously with ice to chill. Strain into a tropical mug over fresh crushed ice. Top with more crushed. Garnish with Angostura Bitters with pineapple fronds. 🍍
