Margarita De Damiana

What goes best with Mondays? Margaritas. 

(Come on. That's a given.)

Welcome to Monday and Margaritas, where–you guessed it–each Monday we'll visit a tasty margarita! Because, well, there really is no better way to start the week off. Am I right?

First up we have a Margarita De Damiana. Which really means, we're going to add some Licor De Damiana to make this special. With this variation, we're going to get some subtle herbaceous flavors to bring some mellow and efflorescent notes to your drink. Nice, soft, and quite pleasant. 

Let's concoct:

  • 1.5 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Licor De Damiana
  • 0.5 oz Lime 
  • 0.25 oz Agave 

*Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a rocks glass and one large ice cube (salted rim, if you so desire). Garnish with an Angostura soaked lime wheel.
